Sean “Diddy” Combs will be sprung from New Jersey’s FCI Fort Dix a month ahead of schedule, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

The 56-year-old music mogul is slated to be set free on Jan. 24, 2028, according to the bureau’s inmate locator. An earlier listing stated he’d be held until Feb. 23, 2028.

Before that, prison records indicated the rapper known as Diddy would be released on April 2028. And before that, he was to be sprung in June 2028, according to TMZ, which first noticed the latest change.

Prison officials haven’t responded to a request for comment regarding the apparent upgrade. Prisoner # 37452-054 was sentenced to more than four years behind bars in October after being found guilty of transporting women and male escorts across the U.S. to engage in depraved and morbidly relentless sexual performances he called “freak-offs.”

President Trump told the New York Times in January that Combs asked him for a pardon. The President — himself a convicted felon — has claimed to have been wronged by New York City jurors. Despite earlier insinuations he might consider taking a look at Combs’ case, Trump told the Times he wasn’t considering the “Bad Boy for Life” singer’s request.

Combs was placed in solitary confinement following a fight in his current residency, according to TMZ. It’s not clear how that incident might impact the length of his incarceration. Prison officials declined to offer information about the alleged scuffle.

Combs was being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Correctional Center during his trial. He was moved to New Jersey after his conviction.
